ShowFirst is operated by Feedback Footprint LLC, 8734 54th Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34211, United States. ShowFirst is the company's trade name. This policy describes the personal information ShowFirst handles, why, who receives it, and the rights you have over it.

Information we collect

Account information. Your name, email address and sign-in details, the agency details you add, such as your agency name, logo and reply-to email, and your plan and billing status. Card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by us.

Usage information. The searches you run, the results and reports you create, the credits you use, the requests made through the API or a connected AI app, and technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page that brought you to ShowFirst.

Support requests. The messages you email to us.

Business information. ShowFirst provides information about businesses collected from publicly available sources, such as public business listings, company websites and government records. This can include the names, job titles and business contact details of business owners and staff. Nothing behind a login or password is gathered.

AI apps and the API

Connecting an AI app such as ChatGPT or Claude to ShowFirst requires signing in to your ShowFirst account and approving access. After that, the app passes ShowFirst just the details a tool needs to run, for example a trade, a city or a web address. Your chat with the app stays with the app and never reaches ShowFirst. Each request through a connected app or the API spends credits and appears in your account history like a dashboard search.

How information is used

We use personal information to provide, maintain and improve ShowFirst, to create and manage accounts, to process payments, to communicate with you about your account and about ShowFirst, to prevent abuse, and to comply with the law. Our legal bases are the contract with you, our legitimate interest in running a business research service, and consent where it is legally needed.

Sharing

We share personal information with service providers that help us run ShowFirst, such as hosting, data, email verification, AI, payment and email delivery providers, only as needed for them to provide those services. Business information is made available to ShowFirst users as part of the service. Information may also be disclosed where disclosure is legally required, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Cookies

We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and a first-party cookie that remembers how you first arrived at ShowFirst. It lasts 90 days and is used to count where new accounts come from. ShowFirst does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

Retention

We keep account information while your account is active and delete it when you delete your account, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation. Billing records are retained for the period set by tax and accounting rules. Business information is kept to provide the service.

Data storage and security

Information is stored and processed in the United States. API keys are kept only in hashed form, and connections to ShowFirst use HTTPS encryption.

Your rights

Whenever you choose, you can download your data or close your account in Settings → Your data, disconnect AI apps in Settings → Connected apps, and revoke the API keys you create on the API keys page. To ask us to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to have a business removed from ShowFirst results, email support@showfirst.app. We respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, including the UK, the EU and US states such as California, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to object to how your information is used and to complain to your data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Children

ShowFirst is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

This policy can change over time. With each change we revise the date at the top of this page, and we notify account holders by email before a material change.
