Terms of service

These terms cover your use of ShowFirst, which is operated by Feedback Footprint LLC. ShowFirst is the company's trade name. Signing in and using ShowFirst means you accept these terms and our privacy policy. Anyone who does not accept them should not use ShowFirst.

Who can use it

ShowFirst is for businesses. You must be 18 or over and use it for your own business or for the agency you work for. If you use it for an agency, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.

The service

ShowFirst provides information about local businesses from public sources, along with exports, shareable online presence reports, an API and connections to other apps. ShowFirst is in early access, and features and credit amounts may change. ShowFirst is offered on an as-is basis, with no warranty of any kind, and there is no guarantee that it will be available at all times or free of errors.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity through your API keys and connected apps. Keep your sign-in and API keys secure. Usage is rate-limited to guard against abuse. We may limit, pause or revoke access that is used in a way these terms do not allow.

The data

Search results come from public sources and automated checks. Business information changes often, and automated checks can be wrong. We do not guarantee that any result is accurate, complete or current. Verify anything that matters before you rely on it.

Acceptable use

Results and exports are for your own business and the clients you serve, and you are responsible for how you use them. You agree to:

• Follow the laws that apply when you contact a business, including laws on commercial email, calls and text messages, and data protection laws.
• Honour opt-out requests. If a business asks us to be removed, we may ask you to remove it from lists you exported.
• Not resell or republish results or exports as a list or database, or share API access outside your business.
• Not use ShowFirst to send spam, to harass, discriminate against, deceive or impersonate anyone, or for anything illegal.
• Not attempt to break, overload, copy by automated means or reverse-engineer ShowFirst, or get around credit or rate limits.

Reports you share

A shared report shows your agency's details, and you are responsible for those details and for the message you send with it. A report reflects automated checks at the time it was made. It is not an audit and may be out of date. We may take a report down at the business's request.

Credits

Credits measure usage in the product. They are not money, have no cash value, and are not refundable, transferable or redeemable outside the product. One lead credit is one business returned by a search or one website looked up. A free account is topped up to 100 lead credits each calendar month. Credits we add by hand, and credits included with a paid plan, stay on your account until used. We may remove credits added by mistake or obtained against these terms.

Paid plans

Paid subscriptions are charged each month in advance through our payment processor and renew until cancelled. Cancel whenever you like in Settings → Manage billing; your plan stays active until the end of the paid month. Founders pricing is kept for as long as the subscription stays active. You can request a full refund of your first payment within 30 days of making it. Later payments are not refunded.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law permits, Feedback Footprint LLC bears no responsibility for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, business or data, that result from using ShowFirst. In every case, our combined liability cannot exceed what you paid us during the twelve months before the claim. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from how you use the results, exports or reports, including how you contact the businesses in them.

Ending the service

We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms. You can close your account whenever you choose in Settings → Your data.

Changes to these terms

These terms can change over time. With each change we revise the date at the top of this page, and we notify account holders by email before a change that affects their rights or billing. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts of Florida.
